Does India restrict number of notebook computers a tourist can bring in?
I want to bring two notebook computers into India as a tourist and then mail them to friends. Can I do that without paying additional customs or tariffs?

- You can get just one notebook computer. For the second one, you need to pay customs duty.
- The import duty for bringing laptops into India is zero. However you are limited to 1 laptop per passenger.
Regarding how much it is to mail the laptops within India is a very dicey question to answer because different carriers will charge different amounts
