What is the difference between computer science and information science engineering in india?

please let me know soon as I have to choose between the two...thank you..

I don't know about India, but generally: computer science is focused on the study of the software (programming, computer languages, etc...), and computer engineering is focused on the study of the hardware (computer physical parts)
Computer science deals with subjects related to computers, e.g mathematical background, languages and algoriths for programming, hardware/software of computer application packages etc,
Informatioin science, on the other hand, deals with information or datastructures, processing, data transmission via satellite/ mobile phones or in other mode, storage/ retieval etc. Computer is only a part of information science.
Perhaps it is different in India than USA, but in USA information science is a watered down version of computer science. Information science is less mathematical / more business like.
