Do u think there is racism in India and do u think it is caused by politicians ?
Why are there people not being good with each other because they belong to different religion in India ? Is it true that majority is not treating minority well ?

- I have moved to U.K. a year ago. When I was in India a year ago I had a lot of friends who had different faith or religion. Who spoke different language, who came from a different part of India.
- NO! It is just as much as in the UK and the US. In fact, it is more in both of these nations. You want to know about racism? There is tons of racism against blacks and Hispanics in the States, so much more than in India. In India, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, and Buddhists generally coexist in peace. In fact, my mother came from a Muslim-dominated town in a non-Muslim state. There was never a single instance of violence there. In fact, her father's best friends were Muslim.
- You cannot find more freedom anywhere than you find in India, even in USA.
Freedom in india is not regulated but understood and accepted by people themselves.
There are christian preachers who take huge parades to spread their faith, tell me where does it happen.
India where millions were killled out of religious tensions, and you often hear, bombing. Still muslims and hindus live together.
Nowhere in the world you can find such harmony. It is only inida.
There is no racism, because there is only one race. And if think indians take whites inferior to them, I dont think its wrong after long suppressing rule by whites.
- I believe that governments all over the world promote racism and any thing they can to maintain control, power, and line their pockets ..it's up to every individual to make a decision ..do I want to promote racism or do what ever I can to stop it? It starts with you. What goes around comes around what do you want coming back to you?
- Has India realy got " UNITY IN DIVERSITY "
- I wish whatever I think isn't true. I wish there is no racism in India.
- They were all good to me.
- There is a difference between racism and discrimination based on religion.
When I was in India, in 2005, I did notice a lot of religious tension between the Hindus and the Muslims but no racism.
