not want your family to live in the UK or USA ?
Be realistic...
India is not even a nice place to visit..
Much less live there on a permanant basis...
Because they are politicians and not leaders.
They understand that education is important to be successful in the business world. They also understand that the US and the UK are major superpowers. Most Indian politicians want their children to follow in their footsteps. By providing them with an education abroad, they facilitate making contacts for their kids that might later be used when they are in office.

As they know for sure that India is not going to progress under THEIR corrupt leadership, so why not get their children out of this hell hole they are trying to create....sounds plausible right?!
They are free from the pressures of their parents fame. They can lead their own lives. As a side line . Why do a large percentage of public school teachers in the US send their children to private schools?
