Maran, one among the best in Indian Cabinet fell a victim to family politics in Tamilnadu. Whither India!?
It is known that an Octogenarian master manipulator from Tamilnadu is controlling the affairs of India as the stability of the Indian Government is in his hands and persons at the helm - both Government and leading coalition partner - act to please him so that the Government is safe. A recent family feud resulted in the death of three innocent souls and hurt the Patriarch’s two children’s future forced Maran, youthful Minister for Communications and Information Technology to resign his job gifted by his grand uncle. Should family conflict affect the affairs of the entire country and don't you think that these trends should be nipped in its bud?

- I guess you nailed it!!!!
- Yeah, what you said.
- I totally agree. What?
- By surviving the family politics to raise to the level of Cabinet minister itself speaks volume of his political strategies.
He has better things to do in his business empire, which the family has bult over the years under the banner of DMK.
Indeed Maran was the best politician among the ranks of MK family. Even his father was not that good. Every citizen from Tamilnadu, knew the family feud and is an open secret. The feud is there for long long time, just that now it has burst in open flames. MK family empire spreads acroos many fields. I understand Ram, the Hindu editor is also a part of the MK family. If you scrutinze closely, almost all fields has MK's connections.
The lesson learnt: Have only one wife.
- It is so sad. we are losing a promising ,young energetic and able minister who has capability of doing things in favour of the people. With his efforts only Ministry of communication could come to this uptodate level. thanks to him.In the family conflict such promising persons should not be allowed to resign and the people should raise their voice against such nepotism.
- This is yet another sordid political incident concerning the state of Tamil Nadu. It is ironic that whereas the Tamils rightly pride themselves on their exceptionally rich cultural heritage, value for education etc., where politics are concerned they are no better than their UP or Bihar brethren, who atleast do not make any pretensions about what they really are. Shame on TN politicians and their machiavellian ways. Innocent people die in these internecine stage managed conflicts. Can anyone forget the Dharmapuri incident where 3 college girls were burnt in their bus by political lumpens ? The culprits were only recently brought to book after efforts to shield them by their political masters were finally thwarted.
- Do you think Maaran's success is due to his capacity and capabilty alone?.
A novice to parliament and inexperienced in Indian politics-- at State and central level --too young and moderately educated without any worldly experience has been made as cabinet minister. Why? Because Kalaignar wanted.
He has shined as a full moon, thanks to Soniaji,PM and other collegues who offered what all he wanted and accepted what all he projected about himself and his department.Again the full moon shining was borrowed from SUN Kalaignar.
Mr.Dayanithi Maaran S/O Murasoli Maaran, and grand son of Kalaignar is not a genius like P.Chidambaram, not a political stalwart like Balu or atleast like Anbumani who holds office of his profession. He claims popularity over these people!
He was chosen by Kalaignar to repersent his family and his party. His over projections in his paper and TV have created
bad name to Kalaignar family,DMK party and divide among
coelison partners. When all parties and leaders are showering tributes how he chooses to be away from those celebrations of Kalaignar as legilator "golden juble "?
Is he so urgenly wants to be the chief minister of Tamilnadu? Why not ? When he was made cabinet minister at the Centre without an ioto of political knowledge and experience he can well hope for CM ,or even PM of this nation. But unfortunately for all these dreams to come to true in life he should be on the laps of his grandfather !!!
In legends ,we read about Pashmaasuran, who wanted to test the destroying powers of the "blessings",given by Lord Shiva,by testing it on the head of the offered Lord Siva himself.
Here is the one of this 21 st century !
- It is yet another example of how corrupt the politics today.
- is it anything new ?
- A section of press, some Politicians claims that people have voted for coalition Government. I do not agree with this argument. As people never, never do it. Every body infact expects his favourite party to which he voted, canvassed would get absolute majority. Regional parties would not improve the federal system in the National broad outlook. The day would come only two, or few national parties would survive.Officially published news is that the CM is having 3 wives. We do not there would be some fluid emerged from unknown wives children. Do you feel any morality to question other Political parties that they are supporting family members. Do not feel so much about Maran. There are so many Marans in India in other States. But their turn probably not come.Nipped in its bud, but How? there are so many caste cries. reservation cries. Have patience wait and wait.....
- I agree with you. He was one of the best minister in the present cabinet.
- Nothing new. Talented leaders of non-Congrss parties were sitting in opposition for almost 40 years. India could not encash on their intelligence. Vajpayee government lost another intelligent minister from Shiv Sena family in the similar fashion. This is the fate of India under coalition governments. Nehru-Gandhi family with duffers like Sonia and her son Rahul are calling the shots with back seat driving of Indian government. People get the rulers they deserve. British ruled Indians for centuries. Now is the turn for stupid local politicians.
