  1. Where is indian politics?
    who created it?
what is criminalisaation? new civilization -- good
  2. Yes. It is very much so. Looking at the existing composition of Lok Sabha, politicians with criminal background and record seem to ratify their criminal acts after being elected as MP or MLA.It is very unfortunate that the common people are taken for a ride by these politicians who have a band of criminals to work for them during the election time. Their main jobs are to intimidate the voters, snatch / damage the voting machines, promise free TV shemes, lands etc. This should be nipped in the bud by EC during filing the nominations and if any politician is proved to have a criminal background, he should not be allowed to contest the elections for a ten year period. EC directorate should be emowered to do so and EC should have all the powers to do so without the inteference of Law / Home Ministry and PMO.

  4. Indian politics thrives on criminalization.Somewhere down or up the line there is linkage or connivance with criminals. Many of the elected representatives are hardcore ones. The main problem is with people who sell themselves for petty things and for little gains. Many of them would not shun the age-old practice of giving their daughters and votes to any one outside their caste. The result is the wrong selection of candidates, who have no moral courage to take on bureaucrats and police whom they on the other hand use for their nefarious gains and drown them further in corruption.
