  1. Bio-tech is definitely a growing field. No shortage of jobs there. But ultimately you have to do what makes you happy of course. It's just very nice when the thing that you love to do also makes you a good living
  2. looking forward to hearing from u all who are qualified to answer this question
  3. If an Indian student of engineering in biotechnology is reading this, then plz specify content of yr Biotechnology course(this part is for Indian students studying in India only!)
  4. Jesus Christ, shouldn't you be making up your mind for yourself? Why are you coming on here telling people to make a lifelong career decision for you? Maybe you should grow up before you do anything at all, because otherwise you'll probably just end up dropping out from the pressure and indecision halfway into your first year.
  5. I have been going through a swinging situation, please give sensible answers with appropriate justification as to which path I should take? Is it true that professionals from Biomed/Biotech are earning more than docs today?
  6. hey MINION ,its you who seems to be mistaken! I am not that big a fool to totally depend and take my decision on yahoo people out there! Its just that I WANT FIRST HAND INFO FROM PEOPLE ALREADY INVOLVED IN THESE CAREERS.,INTERNET IS THE BIGGEST THINK TANK Y'KNOW ,I DO HAVE A PRETTY STRONG IDEA ABOUT HOW MY CAREER SHOULD LOOK LIKE IN NEXT FEW YRS!! So,.........sorry to disappoint you,but I am matured enough already thanx!!
  7. Any degree from Ukraine will be totally useless. Don't believe me? Then just try to get a job after your BS degree from Ukraine. If you can get into Bio whatever from AUS then go for it.
  8. 10 POINTS UP FOR GRABS!!
  9. I'd go for the Biotechnology field. More money and less time in school compared to becoming a doctor. But you have to decide what drives you money or helping make sick people well.

Either choice you are blessed to have these opportunities so weigh your pros/cons and go with your best answer.
