Is true the USA failing in other sports too? not only in soccer?

USA seems less dominant. In baseball latin players are starting to take over the American players places. Most of the shortstops in the mlb are now from Puerto Rico, Dominican, or Venezuela. In basketball Americans dominate the NBA style game but in international competions we dont meet expectations. We are ok in ice hockey but not great. We are better than the Czechs but not better than the Canadians. In fighting Americans are dominant but thats about it. Mayweather could beat any fighter in his path. Randy Couture could knock out any Mexican, Russian or Brazilian in his way. I mean Tito Ortiz got spanked by Couture. Tennis Americans just plain suck. We are no good. Were probably better in futbol then we are in at tennis and I think the US national team is one of the top ten worst teams in the world up there with India, El Salvador and Samoa.

3. I don't know that the USA is failing. It is more likely that the rest of the world is catching up. In soccer, we are slowly catching up to them.

5. its funny why do most people that play sports like basketball, Football, and even hockey want to come play I the States? easy because we have some of the best leaguews in the world! also I think the USA National team is getting better

7. I've heard that basketball and baseball in the US is starting to be less popular. But I think people will still continue playing those sports. American football may be gaining more fanbase. And the US national team is NOT one of the worst. They are actually in the top 20 and are one of the best in the region.

   The US U-20 just beat Uruguay 10 minutes ago, they are going in the quarter final.
   NBA, I don't care, it's ugly.
   In hockey, they are just as good as Canadians.
   Fighting, that's not a sport, it's for savages.
   Tennis, you must have been sleeping all weekend because Venus Williams won at Wimbledon.
