Why India is Lacking behind in Hockey?

And why other teams like Netherland, Australia, Korea have left the Asian country Like India and Pakistan behind

Not enough ice to practice on, maybe?
because many people like cricket then hockey and it does not have as much craze as cricket,tennis etc
India is lacking behind in just about everything.. Do they have cars over there yet?
not good players and not good coach.
becoz ..the government and peope are not encouraging the game hockey like cricket..........

becarse vatevr u tell them, they vill tell u : ve heer in india vant to play crikcet and ve dont like to play a wiolent sport like hucky. venevr sumvone plays heer on the streets, they get wery hurt and ve hawe to giwe them elewan stitches!!!! LOL!!!! :->
The IHF should be asked this question.
Because of fitness level of our player. Skill wise they are best but fitness is must.
bcoz cricket ruined indians. no one want 2 b a hockey player. all want 2 b a cricketer
Because it is hard to keep that towel thing wrapped up on they're heads while they're skaten around, and it's hard to fit a helmet over. Just a guess.
