- firstly calling it the Indian film industry will be better. (not derived from Hollywood). over the years Indian movies have evolved and come a long way. I am a huge fan of these movies and simply love them(barring the stupid films which come in between). and Indian movies have a large fan following outside too and they have earned critical acclaim and won numerous awards in various countries.

- Hi I was watching Hindi films in the late 60's in London, Liverpool and Preston in the UK. In those days the top stars were Helen. Mumtaz, Dilip Kumar, shami Kapoor Sharmila tagor etc, they're grandparents now and some have passed away too. I recall it with much fondness as some of the best days of my youth.
- BOLLYWOOD rules, I love how at the begining they have filmed that little slip of paper instead of digiitally putting it in. its weird but it always makes me smile cuse we are the ones who digitally insert the copyright junk into hollywood films. o ya and fight scenes......

- A Monsoon wedding was a great flick. There are plenty of others too.
- India's movies are almost as bad as the food.. totally lame
- and for those of you who dont know what bollywood is sorta like India's Hollywood.They call the Mumbai aka Bombay Bollywood............and my fave actress's are Rani Mukherji, Preity Zinta, Aishwariya Rai, Ayesha Takia and more.....

- I like Ashwariya Rai as well, she is sooo pretty. I love all her movies and I especially love Bride and Prejiduce.
