- I know of a Bollywod movie which is close to Hollywood...that;s called Dus. Other action packed movie may include Main Hoon Na, Family..teher are so many

- I just saw Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (Never Say Goodbye) last week. No gunfights, but it was the typical 4 hour long dancing extravaganza, and yes, they hid behind trees. If you live in Britain, turn on any one of the Indian music channels on Sky and watch for 10 minutes. You'll have given them a great overview of a Bollywood film since most of the music videos are just pulled from the movies.

- Lagaan is a very flashy, decadent Bollywood musical that typifies the style of the region that you can find in most video stores that have a foreign section (even Blockbuster, nowadays).
And for those of you who don't know what "Bollywood" is, it refers to the movie industry in India. This region produces more films than any other country in the world, including the U.S. The term is a hybrid of Bombay (what Mumbai used to be called, the film culture's headquarters) and, of course, Hollywood. There. All done.

- Is there currently one Bollywood film that epitomizes the Bollywood style, I.e- Gunfights in a quarry, sudden random massed dancing and music, leading characters playing hide and seek behind trees,etc. etc.

- Monsoon Wedding that came out a couple years ago. It's at all the video stores.
- I only recently heart about it. It's name is derived from Holliwood (of course!) and Bombay if I'm not mistaken. The actors are Indian. It's very musical-like and funny and I really have to see one soon now... :-) (just curious)
There's a store in Antwerp in which nothing else is sold but such movies. But I guess that won't help you out... as Antwerp's in bloody Belgium... ;-)
