Where can I find an Indian movie store in Edmonton(Canada)?
Hi, I really love Indian movies. where can I find a store where I can rent or buy indian movies with english subtitles in Edmonton Canada ?

- Millwoods has a fairly large Indian population and has tons of wonderful Indian shops,etc. There is a website called: http://www.millwoodsonline.com/... - on there you will find several Indian shops including the Indian newspaper - which is where you will likely find an advertisement for video rentals. In quite sure by even calling some of those businesses and asking them if they know of a video store that carries the movies you are looking for - chances are pretty good that you would get your answer.
Another one to check is the Hub Video store at the U of A as they carry ethnic videos - best to call them.
Try asking someone at the Millwoods Newcomers - they have just about any information a newcomer could possibly want.
Try visiting or calling some of the smaller independently owned corner stores as many of them are family owned by Indian families and many have a small selection of movie rentals.

The are tons of desi shops on 34th Avenue near 92nd street. I can't remember the name of the one that we go to but it's in the west side of a strip mall located on the north side of 34th Ave. It's a combination grocery and movie store. Hope this helps!

- I know that there are a lot of Indian specialty shops in Millwoods. There must be one there somewhere. And the movie theatre that is on Calgary Trail/Gateway Blvd (used to be called Gateway 8 or something? The older theatre by the big bar that changes names a lot - not the one in South Edmonton Common) plays Indian movies all the time.
But that is all I know.
