Basically you are looking to make a portal for Movies. You need to know atleast basic HTML or tool to make HTML which can be as basic as a MSword/Power point to create a portal or getting professional configured flash/php/java/dotnet based complex front and back end. To start with just play around with HTML editors and once you're satisfied then proceed to the next step below (which can be done in parallel):-
Another part is to secure a domain name and get it hosted over the net. What that means is to get a name of your site and put it on the net. Three ways to do it
- Get a free site like geocities.com and upload your portal code
(FREE)
- Get a yearly subscription which can be as low as few $ per month and get yourself a domainname and space on the net. Several sites on the net just yahoo seacr it and you will find tonnes of deals. They will also help you get a domainname
- Get a domainname, get machines and host it yourself in a co-location who will provide you with power, cage to keep your stuff, cooling and internet bandwidth. (very expensive)
