My guess is that too much media exposure is doing her in.

Yes that can be true, but remember to maintain a very high level of play (like being in the world's top 100-an awesome achievement) week after week & year after year for as long as a career anyone can have is a very difficult thing to do. That is why most players will have "peaks" & "valleys" during their career. Sania is young & she still has a way to improve some more. What's interesting is where she will go from here.
