- Maybe........there is 50% hope because though they have talented players and young players the are 76%stricken with some or the other injury.

- they will go well now that Shane Warne has retired ,but Australia will be hard to beat at the moment!!!! they have lost 1 game in 19 matches which talks for its self !!!!
- Yes,as individually they are well players and have lot of records,but when playing as a team?,they don't have Team Spirit,they don't fighting until the end of the match,they are quickly satisfied with a small wins ,they feel it will be enough and they don't continue the efforts to the next important matches(like last world cup).As an Indian I wish India to get the world cup,but as a cricket fan my open ion one of the following will get:Australia,South Africa,Sri Lanka

- India is not a powerful team. They couldn't even win yesterday's easy match against Sri lanka. If they fix it like they did with the W.Indies, may be they can win...though, it might cost them a fortune.

- Indian side for world cup cricket 2007 is balanced side. They have perform consistently in the both batting and bowling.Pace bowlers have a vital job to do. If every thing is OK, India can defeat any team except Australia. Chance is 40-60.
- The best indian team going for the World Cup after the 1983 Presidential Cup. India has found good openers in Ganguly and Uthappa, with Sehwag in there too. Yuvraj, Dravid, Dhoni and Tendulkar steady the middle order to form one of the best middle order batting. Lower middle order of Kumble, Harbhajan, Zaheer can hit a few runs too.
As on bowling - Zaheer and Sreesanth/Munaf Patel will be opening and are not as bad. Kumble, Harbhajan and Sachin - Sehwag can bowl many spin overs between them. That leaves one guy extra. He can be employed as a strike bowler - Irfan/Sreesanth or Dinesh Kaarthick as the 11th guy. Irfan can bat as well.
It is a very powerful batting line-up, and make take a beating on their bowling lineup.
Quality Fielders are in plenty - Yuvraj, Uthappa, Sachin, Kaarthick. Fielders like Munaf Patel will have to be hided on the field.
There are all winning chances for India. India will reach the semi-finals for sure.
