- I knw this might sound depressin but ther r very very little scholarships available for medicine in the uk...second thing- uk medical schools dont accept indian qualifications...they want u to have A levels n nuthn less...the reason I'm tellin u this is coz they rejected ma application last year...I applied whn doin the ISC in india....now I'm in the uk, and am doing A levels...but I'm gonna do chemistry first and then do medicine later on.....but then again....ther r no scholarships available...sorry mate..
- Well, I'm sure you'd be in a better position to pay for an education in an Indian university-- especially if you wish to study medicine. The fees are really high in the UK, even for people from developed countries.
Does the MBBS have to be from the UK? Essentially you will still learn medicine even if you enroll in an Indian university.
I don't know of any scholarships from UK universities, unfortunately. I do know that the Australian National University and some other universities in Australia offer scholarships, some of which are tenable for studies in medicine for foreign candidates. Try looking up the websites of good Australian universities to read more.
Look for Australian universities in the Group of 8-- they are the top 8 in Australia and you can be assured of a quality education there.
You can also try the University of Hong Kong. They have scholarships for Indian nationals.
Hope this helps.
